Kyle...

I'm glad that you offered your services to keep yourself from getting bored. Let see, there are a few things you can do for good ol' team 45:

1. Reverse engineer all of our robots without prints and make new prints... that would include robots from 1992-1996. Please remember to use the existing drawing format that we used this year!

2. Sort and label that 'big bucket of bolts' setting under our team's fastener table. Be sure to separate the metric screws from the English threaded screws.

3. Come up with an outline for next year's Chairman's Award submission.

4. Polish our shop's floors... they're kinda dirty.

5. Inventory all of our spare motors, bearings, and Small Parts stuff... it would be nice to have a this in Excel.

6. Come up with rules and specs for next year's TechnoKat Challenge. Also, set a date and location.

7. Sharpen all of our drill bits.

8. Measure, itemize and color-code all of our pvc pipe and fittings, in order of diameter, length, age and dirtiness.

9. Go out and recruit 20 more students, 5 engineers, and a few teachers for next year's team. Also, get some parents to commit their time to our team... without being paid, of course!

10. Plan and structure all of our team's 'team building execizes' for next fall. Include at least one scavenger hunt, a bowling night, and a few car washes.

OR........

you can just HAVE A GOOD SUMMER!!!!!!

Take Care,
Andy B.
