I agree, Lora! Although, BattleBots may 'inspire' those who would otherwise never become involved in technology, it lacks some of the most important ideas that FIRST teaches-gracious professionalism, team spirit, and cooperation to name a few. And another thing about BattleBots--I watched it once, and it looked like just a bunch of middle-aged men driving the robots. :-) I guess I'm just partial to FIRST...
