Re: 2008 Pittsburgh Regional
The Pittsburgh Regional was awesome. In addition to being hosted by the University of Pittsburgh, which is know for its school of engineering, the Peterson Event Center at the University of Pittsburgh is a great facility...comfortable seating, good pit space and a nice variety of food concessions.
The competition featured a good mix of veteran teams, developing teams and rookie teams. The Pittsburgh regional will be one to watch as the local teams develop and the nearby veteran teams look towards Pittsburgh on the road to the FRC Championship event.
Team 357 would like to thank 337 the Hard Working Hard Hats and 2614 - MARS, for being great alliance partners as we faced 120, 522 and 222 in the quarterfinals...1308, 1249 and 326 in the semifinals and lastly the powerhouse alliance of 375, 291 and 2544 in the finals.
We are looking forward to Philly...good luck to everyone as the 2008 FRC season continues.
