I can actually do that pretty easily, if people want to do it. Just drop me an e-mail some time about whatever kind of list you want to create, and I'll make it. An announcement would be sent to the general mailing list, and the announcement would contain the link. As far as the amount of traffic you'll get from signing up for the general mailing list, it will be quite minimal, until january comes around that is, then you'll get more messages than normal, like whenever a new team update is put out, or if FIRST makes any other announcement. Also, I would imagine that these other e-mail lists would probably pop up more during that time as well.
