For those of you not going to the aquarium,
Friday night at 7:30, the Braves are playing the Los Angeles Dodgers. They also play the Dodgers on Saturday afternoon (not a good time) and
Sunday afternoon at 1:35 for those of you hanging around Atlanta until Monday.
Many "First" people have attended the games over the past 4 years. I would suggest reasonably ($12-$16) priced tickets in upper sections 402-416 (great view) but try to get row 10 or lower. The afternoon / evening sun will not be in your eyes on this side of the stadium. The Dodgers series are the Braves next home games so I would purchase your tickets asap.
Also, there are "
all you can eat sections" priced from $30-$70.
Turner Field was home to the 1996 Olympic track & field, opening & closing ceremonies and and is a great place to watch a ballgame.
While the Marta rail service does not go to Turner Field, you can ride the train to Five Points and transfer to the
Braves Shuttle Bus.
Here are some basic directions from CNN Center to Turner Field by Mapquest.
