One thing i noticed (that may make a slight difference in interpreting).. is that some regionals have 'capacity's while others don't.. one of those without a set limit is the Illinois regional.. but I'm assuming FIRST must has set -some- limit (maybe 75 teams or something) from which those 47 spots are left..

If the Michigan Regional had a smaller capacity, it could look like more teams are going to that than IL.. i don't know though.. just a perspective to remember
