Yep Joe, I agree. We have talked about the Silverdome, probably cheaper than the Palace.

Or how about this? The new Lions Stadium being built in Detroit. I bet my sponsor, Ford Motor Co. could be pressed into service for the Great Lakes Regional (or regionals !)

This moves away from the idea of holding these competitions at colleges and universities, but that has already happened, so I guess it is a moot point.

These are central locations for many teams in Michigan, UNLIKE having to go to MSU this year.
