FYI... Mercedes was still with Chrysler when they built the Commander, and the Commander isn't too far behind the $53k I am afraid to admit.

I bought it, because it sits on a frame. I have always had solid cars, always will. There's just something about feeling a little safer. First time you get T-boned at 40+ mph by something equally as heavy or heavier than you... you will be wanting or wishing you had that frame underneath you too!
