It's a fine balance with FTC. With the history of "comandeered" designs, many good teams are reluctant to post videos of their robots. But there's a point in time where this works against you; you might have a great robot that no one knows about, and slips through the cracks come eliminations.

You might've even won a tournament, and scored some of the highest scoring matches in all of FTC... and people still would have no idea who you are. FTC is a strange beast sometimes.

The information just isn't out there for FTC, but eventually, you either a) get the word out about your robot, or b) hope that the good teams down there scout you and understand what you bring to the table.

Hopefully, you do some of both.

P.S. I'm not a member of 189 either. I have no idea what new tricks they have up their sleeve, but we'll find out soon enough.
Alot of the teams don't look to see if they win the regional but where the team places in the standing snad their rp
