With our team spread out from IN to MA, getting an honest tab on where we stand is a bit tricky.... Having done these before, and knowing that you really don't know that you are in fact 'done' till you are competing in your first round, we will take a 5.

Some details. We have a design of the base and arm. We have a working prototype of a base that can scoot around. We have the actual base under construction in Kokomo with a report that it will be operational this weekend. We have an arm / ball pick up device that is built and is in Boston getting modified to actually hold a ball, and be mounted on the base. Some 'details' that remain are the component integration (scheduled to being on 11/10) and the inevitable revisions needed to make it work. It is, by design, a simple device, so the integration should not be very impossible (only mildly impossible).
