While the main controller does weigh a ton, the new power distribution system is a lot lighter than the distro block + 40A block + 20/30A block + tons of 6AWG wire that we currently have. In fact, I was told by one of the NI people that the whole system weight is the same as this year's once you take the savings from the new power distribution system into account. Actually, the power distro system is by far my favorite part of the new setup; for those that haven't seen it, it is like the breaker panel from IFI a few years back, but better (you don't even need to crimp on connectors to plug stuff into it).
