Excellent idea. I agree that being able to step on stage and receive a medal is a great moment, not to be underemphasized. I also agree that getting hungry kids to food should take precedence over pomp and circumstance.... This idea sounds like it satisfies both needs.
I love Dean but he could have said what he came to say in about 1/2 the words. He definitely needs an editor on his speeches....
