In order to split up the IFI and NI control system discussions, I've created a new NI Control System subforum, and done a little bit of re-org in the 'Technical' area of the site.
The portal thread listing is customizable -- you won't see the NI control system threads on the portal unless you do the following:
At the top of 'Recent Activity' box on the portal click
config and select the forum(s) you want to show up on the portal.
