: Well, Ive always wondered what would happen if a hard snow season hit during the 6 weeks, or during Kickoff. Has it happened before? I know we've had some mild winters the past few years, but what about in the early years of FIRST, when winters were still a little hairy and we didnt have the Nino/Nina effect going on?

: I remember last year when school was cancelled during week 2 and we still had our meeting anyway, snow or not.....what do you think would happen if something hit really hard during the 6 weeks (or Kickoff? ::cringe:?

: Just curious (I swear, I am not trying to jinx it!!),

In the few cases in the past 3 years that I've been involved with this where the schools HAVE shut down, we've generally met at our sponsor with a 'make it if you can' rule...obviously not forcing people to go out into it, but getting work done with whoever CAN make it there...

And then of course, there's the time that I had all 4 wisdom teeth surgically removed in the morning, and drove myself to the meeting that night...but that's another story... =)
