True enough. If we have a battery, some wire, a motor, and have no regard for the rules (or sloppy application of those rules), we can make any robot move, no matter what the control system is

Luckily, it is (in my opinion) still much easier to catch wiring errors than coding errors... and that will be more true of the new system (basic rule of software engineering: as system complexity increases, so do the odds of having bugs).
