Well our team prior to the official kickoff date(usually the day of) gets together to do some team building exercises. Such as thinking games, cooperative games, and get-to-know each other games. Throughout the year, at complete random times, an adult or student will start a cheer. Also each year we try to think of new cheers. The good ones stick and the bad ones usually aren't remembered. Basically you just need to get the whole team in the cheer.
