Can the final software version allow the capacity to model the mechanical system?
This is a common approach. It can also very involved depending on the complexity of the mechanical system.
At the initial release, this will not be a built-in capability of the libraries. But my hope is that by supporting a depot for code sharing, various teams can pretty quickly develop and share the modeling SW needed.
