931 robot demo at advance showing of IRON MAN

Several team members of 931 were invited by a local St. Louis cinema to demo our robot in the lobby, at an early screening of IRON MAN yesterday evening. I think the majority of the audience had received tickets via a radio call-in promotion.

Our neighbor in the demo space was a comic book artist who did iron man sketches -- I got a nice one with 931 worked into the smoky backdrop.

The team did a great job of fielding questions about the robot, who built it, and why. This was a fun way to raise awareness of FIRST.

I believe in intuition and inspiration. Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited, whereas imagination embraces the entire world, stimulating progress, giving birth to evolution. It is, strictly speaking, a real factor in scientific research.
