I'm trying to get a short whitepaper put together for you guys on our transmission and the development we did throughout the 2008 season.

A quick note...our final version that was used in Atlanta effectively solved the major issues with the design. I hate that we were the guinea pig for Dewalt destruction, but I'd prefer to help the community learn.

In short, the direct drive application is very taxing on the transmission. We had to make too many modifications to the transmission to make it useful.
