Yes, Chief Delphi, there is a Looking Forward. It exists as certainly as science and technology and Gracious Professionalism exist, and you know that they abound and give to your life its highest inspiration and joy. Alas! how dreary would be the world if there were no Looking Forward. It would be as dreary as if there were no FIRSTers. There would be no well-thought hype then, no predictions, no honest analysis to make tolerable this build season. We should have no enjoyment, except in sense and sight. The eternal light with which robotics fills the world would be extinguished.

A thousand years from now, Chief Delphi, nay, ten times ten thousand years from now, Looking Forward will continue to make glad the heart of childhood.
