All the video mixing this year was done on a
NewTek TriCaster, and the matches were directly recorded to the TriCaster's hard drive with the correct match numbers (except for the few times when I forgot to hit the button to indicate a new match was starting). Therefore the people doing the encoding and uploading of the video should have an easier time this year than last year, since they won't have to go through and split up 12.5 hours of video. It will still take time to encode everything though -- the uncompressed video was over 200GB. And yes, the RoboCoach Skills Test was recorded as well, and will probably be uploaded to the web site.
