Not to shift the conversation topic too much from the depicted robot makeout, but what impresses me the most is the differences between this pink gripper, and the initial version posted here:

As you can see the older version of this gripper looks to be considerably heavier than the final product. From my initial glances, it must have taken hours and hours of during the fix-it windows to get the new gripper done. Very few teams are willing to put in those extreme hours after ship, most are more likely to stick with what they have. I love it when teams aren't willing to settle for "good enough" and continue working to make sure they're "great". It's this level of dedication and desire that separates the great teams from the good, and keeps The Pink Team at the top of the FIRST world.
