Registration is now open for the newest summer robotics program to be held at WPI, the Junior Robotics Challenge!
Designed for students entering 6th through 8th grade, the program introduces participants to the world of robotics through the LEGO Mindstorms NXT kit and programming language. Students will design robots to solve different missions that scientists in the field of alternative energies focus on every day. The program is modeled after the
FIRST LEGO League and will incorporate the same missions as the
FIRST program, teaching the kids how to work in teams, solve tough problems, compete like crazy, and have fun!
This program is being run as a fundraiser for Team 1735. More information about the program and to register, visit
