--When you're at Pep Boys for something unrelated to robotics and are sure you see a CIM motor, large size, in its original state.
--When you get a job at a go kart track and start trying to figure out:
- Can your driver control the robot on this track (there are 6 tracks)?
- Can the overpass be hurdled over?
- If not, how can it be, without landing in the channel on the other side of the fence?
- How do you control the robot where you can't see it?
- Can it beat the karts we've got on the track?
- Will the robot spin out (slick track)?
- How good would our driver be (bumper cars, tank-drive steering)?
--When you think that they've got it wrong on the track when one of the three main tracks starts with a right turn and ends with a right turn (and it's drive straight into both of them...)
--At said go kart track, there is no bumping on most of the tracks...so you think of it as "hurdler interference" instead of "bump to pass".
