Upload the image to a website like Imageshack; they have an option to resize a picture as it is uploaded.

Or when you are at the page of the photo in CD Media, if you are using Firefox you can right click on the photo and click "View Photo". Then you can get the url of the medium side photo very easily from the address bar.
