To do my part, I'd like to find a way to get the CD community NOT attending the IRI involved in the voting.
Travis,

Way ahead of you,

Dave Stevens and I each already dropped a twenty dollar bill into an envelope this AM and sent them on their way to one Mr Jeff Smith there in Indianapolis.

With a little help from his friends, Jeff intends to run for you lucky IRI guests, the fun, 6-player, Overdrive simulation (aka 5thGear) that was in the Lockheed Martin exhibit in the NASA/VCU Regional's Technology Row. (Here is a photo
The 2008 NASA/VCU FRC Regional 5thGear World Champions)

Dave and I invited Jeff to keep track of the alliance that racks up the highest 5thGear score during IRI, and to then bestow upon them the honor and privilege of depositing our $40 of mentor money into the bucket of the nominee that, in their estimation, promises to be the best passionate porcine pucker practitioner.

Until that winning alliance is announced and the money deposited, no one is safely perched in the pleasantly prestigious penultimate position if they aren't at least $40.01 behind the leader

Blake (I wish I could be there) Ross
