I'm really lost as to why this is an issue... this year's game is about cooperation to the max... the anti-battlebots... the purpose of the 10% is to reward the teams that design that ability in... plain and simple..

if you think of the 10% as a priority (hint: we do) then you'll want bigball handing to be key... maybe you choose to be a team player and work to help everyone by balancing the goals or whatever, but then your skill will be noticed, recognized and you'll be picked by the big ball teams which will be the higher seeds probably...
