When FIRST does it, it is normally OK.
I heard about these - but I'm not 100% sure. They were around during 1998 or 1999 championships. I've seen the bottles of water recently, and I'm pretty sure the championship volunteers drink FIRST water.

So, I'm pretty sure this is the way they do it. This is Shastas way of supporting FIRST, they put out a few machines with FIRST water in differet parts of the country and part of the profits from each of the water bottles goes back to FIRST. - Libby Kamen
