But Hal was simply an auto control for the ship (Discovery)
The ship could be operated with Hal shut down and unplugged.

Using your logic you could say some cars are robots cause they can control their speed and park themselfs.

Oh and I think Hal would be insulted being called a supercomputer.. he was the super of supercomputers. After all the HAL 9000 seris have never made a error... except for that one time...

Oh on the FIRSTquiz.... well. I knew some of the teams.... but their numbers.... 1/10 I'm so ashamed!
