Well I can think of one design that can "swim" and "skim" over the bar in less than 3 seconds. You just need the right software and a variation of the Aztec bot from '99. But it would take some extra motors to get over quickly which would not leave much for other functions.

What am I doing on this forum giving people Wild ideas? I should be doing some analysis or Stangthing!
