Gottas agree with you wholeheartedly on
The Carnival! I trudged through many long days & night of homework my freshman year of college listening to that CD repeatedly! It was my only saving grace while in those computer labs writing papers, or working on equation after equation in the math lab.
I only got interested in it because of the "Staying Alive" Bee Gees remix, but soon grew to love the whole CD. It had it all. Comedy, good beats, awesome songs, classic songs, slow ones, uptempo songs...
Great CD!!!!
Dare I say, it was very similar to what Kanye attempted & did in Graduation years before Kayne did it.
Combine old & new, & mix it up in sometimes crazy ways, & make a great compilation!
