This jives with my "best guess" from the drawings of 18 3/8", except that I calculated from the floor and not the top of the mat.

Which begs the obvious question: Does the perimeter sit on the floor or on the mat. I've been assuming it sits on the floor.

Personally I think.. +/- 1" is a pretty wide margin on a robot with max 18" dimensions. Remember we're trying to do this is autonomous mode..
