I think that's some of the logic RIT used in deciding to stay with the quarter's system....... They were having retention problems and some people (*cough* liberal arts *cough*) were blaiming it on the quarters system. The point was made that WPI doesn't have are problem and that they use quarters (well, shorter quarters but still quarters). Ah, the fun of silly college bureaucracies.....

Matt who's glad that they stayed with quarters but thinks they used the most bizarre logic for the arguement both ways
