i think that having illegal software isn't bad if you're not going to use it for personal gains... if you're an engineering company and you go and download 50 copies of autocad, and make thousands of dollars from it, it's wrong... but if you're a kid(like i am), you're probably not going to use it for anything other than learning how to use the software. either that, or you're going to just play around with it. I can say myself, that i'd never go into a store and spend a thousand dollars to "mess around" with 3d studio max, or inventor, or cad. Does it hurt the company in any way if someone steals a copy of that company's software if the company was never going to make anything from the person anyway??? what do you think, i think no.
