Re: UnderDrive Regisration

Hi all,
Apologies for bringing up this old thread. Anyone who's planning on attending should know this already, but just a reminder if anyone still hasn't figured it out:

What: 1/3 scale version of last FRC, Overdrive. All robot systems allowed (although we'll be using VEX).
Price: FREE! Yay! It's our first year, that means no guarantees Feel free to drop by and check it out.
When: THIS Saturday, Nov. 22nd, 2008.
Where: Peachtree Ridge High School
Doors open at 9:30
Inspection/Practice runs 9:30 to 11
Seeding 11 to 3
Finals 3 to 4
Awards 4 to 5

We have some awesome trophies courtesy of our mentor and some scrap parts.
Reminder again that we're running this on linoleum (no carpet), size restrictions apply but no weight nor money restrictions at all. Matches are run 2x2. Inspection is basically just to make sure your robot isn't dangerous, they're be an Inspection Station and our head mentor will be there. Tape and glue not allowed. And our head mentor may override any and all rules.

Order forms for lunch when you get there, you'll need to schedule your lunch in between matches somehow, since we're running a tight schedule. It'll run ~11 to 1 pm. Snacks sold 10 to 3 pm.

Oh yes, there's a flag we'll give you to put on your robot, but it's small and easy to put on. Shouldn't be any problem.

Oh, and you'll be subject to being photographed and videotaped, we don't have consent forms but just let us know and we can photoshop if needed, hehe.

For some idea of the field/ball, go here:

Those are old pictures. We have plexiglass and paint now! Whee!

Good luck tomorrow everyone! Wish us luck working all the logistics out
