aye, if this were a moderated forum wherein the CD people explicitly said ROBOT ONLY threads...then perhaps we'd have more order in here.

Unfortunately that is not the case.

I do agree that let us try to maintain some kind of order here and not to have so many random posts all around.

I must say however that unless you run the site, posting a demand of what you want posted is rather... dictatorial? It is a public forum and we all should try to maintain some kind of order with regard to posting in the right places. But as to what to post, if you do not like the topic thread, dont reply guys.

On the other hand, if you want to post something, a question, a bright insight, or even a funny joke to you, then POST A NEW thread and see if people find it interesting enough to reply.

Otherwise, it's rather controlling and rude to tell people that you do not like what they are posting.

It's funny that every year this becomes an issue. Usually it happens to those who call this place "home" and find that they're home is actually the public marketplace.

Bottom Line:

post anything you want. read whatever u want. just maintain clean and uncluttered... and within topic.

Rumor=fun,stupid,rumors,etc.

general=anything robotics related that's general info

tech=robotic design/building technical questions and solutions

capish?
