I don't get starting the drafting so early. With that in mind, how are we supposed to know team 0001 will be better then team 3333? Drafting this early is all based on previous years performances and such? I think it will be a lot better to have it done at least two weeks into the season, not so early.

Because there is no time to do all this during build season.
People tend to have something better to do then.
