I fundamentally disagree with you on this one point. Your particular design might target teams with limited resources, but the library as a whole shouldn't have to. I believe that this needs to turn into a repository of designs or design snippets that cover the full gambit from "tools found in a kitchen" to "5-axis CNC". I agree that it should start simple, but it shouldn't stay there.
