Modification on the Torque motor?

Student on team #192, Gunn Robotics Team, from Henry M. Gunn Senior High School.



Does anyone know if you can tamper with the ring that restricts the motor's range of rotation? For example: take it out so the attachment can rotate more than the degree of freedom?
