Point is, it won't be something that would make every team do a ridiculous challenge. That said, however, it might be a ridiculous challenge for one of the alliance members.
Maybe the robots will be able to have variable amounts of communication, the more communication you have, the more possible points.
There are so many separate ideas that I can't even write what I want to say. Let's just take all the ideas, put them together and shuffle the words. Whatever comes out of that will be the consensus.

First, I agree with you, they are most definitely going to take advantage of what the new control system can do. I think the communication among robots will be limited to teams, I hope, otherwise there might be an interference factor, and the opposing team could potentially talk to your robot, but I don't think the competition will be to ridiculous. The communication idea for points wouldn't be such a bad idea for the game either.
