I'm not sure if this is 100% true - it could be. I do know that some regionals have asked teams for additional info, etc the week before or on Thursday at the event so emcees and announcers would have more info. We always try to display our robot name clearly and in quotes (so it doesn't get muddled with the team name) so event folks can see it well when its on the field. However, it may be hard to see under water this year
