For what it is worth, we connected one vistor and one Jaguar for the bench test and neither had any problems. But I will emphasize that was with the OTB software installed, prior to any updates or flashing, as discussed
here.
I am speculating here, but I believe that there are blocks for the Victors and for the Jaguars in LabView, and these blocks are optimized for the device to which they are connected.
