If its easy to alter the rotational direction of the drill motors in your machine, you might try a quick experiment:

Evaluate the quality of the launch with the motors running in opposite directions. Turn one around and do the same thing. I'm convinced that you will want them to run the same direction.

Please let us know how the operators respond to the A/B test.
