Re: tough box bearing problem
In case other teams are having fit issues not related to orientation I offer this tip.
In some situations, manufacturing tolerances are exceeded and the bore is too large for the bearing.
If this is the case, you can take a center punch/hammer and make one ore more small impressions in the bore and/or outer race of the bearing. This will deform the local surface enough to "snug" up the fit.
