Sounds to me like the lights are working... have you stuck a multimeter on the volts setting across the motor output leads on the Jaguar? You will get weird results at anything but full power, but at full forward, you should measure ~12V across them. If you dont see voltage there, your Jaguar is likely pooched, if you do, then its likely your motor that's pooched.
