So far ours have been working fine although we haven't really driven the robot much. I would suggest replacing the spacers that SPI provides however. They are rather inadequate for the task. Just machine some polycarbonate spacers for replacements and you should be fine. I'd also recommend that you make sure the hubs are fully seated onto the wheel chair wheels and that the bolts aren't over tightened.
