Dude, go for the team skateboards! But if you want a longboard, I suggest hitting up Legendary Longboards, they make some SWEET decks, and will be more than happy to do the custom graphic you want.

Rallying takes more balls (for lack of a better term) as well as stupid amounts of driving skill... I mean you've got people throwing themselves down snowed-over gravel roads that are lined with trees at over 100mph. Pretty intense.
Gymkhana is an all-out display of superior vehicle control. Kinda like rally but without the speed. so imo, Rally > Gymkhana. I can appreciate both, though. They're still both way out of my league.
Though, when I'm trying to make my very own car closer to the (at least look of) Group A rally car of similar year/model (the Group A car was a '80 Volvo 242 iirc, mine's a 1985 Volvo 245... Station wagon status right there) in so far as the rims, mudflaps, ride height and rally lights... yeah.
Oh man -- those longboards look sweet. And they don't look too expensive, either.
If I didn't have a project car right now I'd so pick one up. I bet they are
smooth.
Oh, and on a similar note of team-related stuff:
I'm looking at getting a motorcycle helmet that's similar to WWII german helmets and painting it dark blue and putting my team's logo on one side and team number on the other... as well as red baron style goggles (for use as safety goggles) at competition this year. It'll be
awesome, I reckon.
