I feel your pain. In 2006 we had maybe three or four people consistently working on the robot. In 2007 that grew by like, three. I'm pretty sure we didn't have mentors very often if at all in '07. '08 and '09 though, we've got a lot of people (this year especially) and mentors that can be here almost every day... and it's a world of difference. The workload per person is lighter (which is nice) and we can be more precise, even.

Doesn't mean we're any better, honestly (our best season so far wasn't our most precise. In fact, the season before (which was, until 2007, our best season so far) was horrible... hardly nothing matched perfectly, about half the bot was built in the pit with a jigsaw and some other hand tools, etc). Just means it's easier.
