Sorry about the paint image but if black is the robot's outline and purple is bumpers it would be possible to curve plywood around that curve on the front i believe and it would still satisfy the current rules. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Let's just hope that curved parts don't count as technical corners...then we'll see a whole slew of definitions for a CORNER and all of its ensuing confusion.
Since curves are not edges, I would presume that your drawing is ok for the front of the robot:
