It's a good idea, but I'm a bit too lazy to do it myself
WindRiver is based off of Eclipse, and I know that Eclipse works anywhere you copy it. WindRiver is apparently not as well designed, and so far it seems to have some annoying interface bugs. As for compatibility, it works fine on my Vista x32 laptop.
